No, the internet is HUGE. The Internet Is Big is visual bookmark browsing for del.icio.us users. Every day us internetters are tagging, saving and (re)publishing links, blogs, images, videos and other content. I got sick of trying remembering what the link I tagged the day before was called, when I knew what the page looked like. I built this little tool to help. I lead the visual design and front-end UI functionality for this web application. Once a year Target gets all of its vendors together so they can negotiate and purchase their marketing programs for the year. Moving away from a previous outdated system, we built an application not only capable of offering marketing programs to vendors, but also offering real-time reporting, goal setting and customization of basically everything. The redesign of the Kohl’s Careers site came with a lot of baggage and challenges. Number one was making it easy for people to find, apply for and get a real view of the possible careers at Kohl’s. For the site, 30+ Kohl’s employees were interviewed and filmed talking about their jobs. Also, all jobs are updated daily, searchable and no more than 2 clicks deep from anywhere in the site.
